A tour like no other

Trace your family's footsteps.

Give us a name, and we'll help you find the ground they stood on. It has been, for many of our families, the most meaningful day of their trip.

How it works

From a name in your family tree, to a place you can stand.

Before your trip, tell Joe who you're hoping to find — a great-grandfather, a great-uncle, a name passed down at the dinner table with little else attached to it. He researches their service record, the battles they fought in, and the locations where they served, then works actual site visits into your itinerary.

Families have found gravesites they never knew existed, uncovered medical histories, and walked the exact paths their relatives walked over a century ago. For many, it turns a battlefield tour into something closer to a homecoming.

1

Share what you know

A name, a regiment, a hometown — even a single detail is often enough for Joe to begin. Do this when you book, or send it to us any time beforehand.

2

We research their service

Joe traces their unit, the battles they were part of, and — where possible — the exact locations tied to their story: where they fought, where they were treated, where they're remembered.

3

It's woven into your tour

Your itinerary is adjusted so that, alongside the scheduled highlights, you visit the ground that matters to your family specifically.

4

You stand where they stood

Whether it's a gravesite, a trench line, or a village square, you leave with more than photographs — a real, physical connection to your family's history.

Real family stories

What families have found.

He researched each member, the battles they fought in, provided records and pictures and locations where they were and fought, customized the tour to include actual site visits — every detail was anticipated and covered. He brought my Great Grandfather's war experience to life, and completed my own journey with an emotional trip to my Great Uncle's gravesite.

Joe was waiting for us and had discovered where my uncle was killed, showed us the footsteps he walked, where he waited for battle orders, his medical history during his deployment and so much more. Our family is so grateful to Joe and we are very lucky our paths crossed!
