Your journey continues beyond the beaches, tracing the Canadian advance through the villages and fields outside the historic city of Caen. Visit the battlefield of Authie, the Waffen SS headquarters at Abbaye d'Ardenne, Carpiquet and Hill 67, where Canadian soldiers faced some of the most determined German resistance of the Normandy campaign.
