Home / Tours / The Signature (2 Day)
The Signature — 2 Day Canadian Tour combines our two most popular day tours to cover the top-to-bottom of Canada's action on the Western Front.
All tours are based in the old town of Arras. We can recommend accommodation in hotels or guest houses our clients have happily stayed at. Pick-up/drop-off is at your accommodation in Arras or at the train station.
North into Belgium, visiting some of the most iconic battlegrounds of the First World War — original trenches, the infamous Passchendaele battlefield, and the site where John McCrae wrote "In Flanders Fields" during the gas attacks of 1915. A relaxing dinner in the old town of Ypres leads into the emotive Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate, where more than 6,000 missing Canadians are commemorated.
Into the footsteps of Canadian troops at Vimy Ridge, Hill 70, and the pivotal battles of 1918 on the famous Cambrai road — including the unforgettable National Vimy Memorial, where more than a century on, Canada's efforts and sacrifices are still proudly remembered by local communities.
The above itinerary may be varied based on the wishes and consensus of the guests travelling on any particular day. Customised tours are available for this area on request.
