Discover the essential Canadian battlefields of the First World War on a two-day journey across northern France and Belgium. Based in historic Arras, The Signature combines our Vimy Ridge & The Somme and Flanders Fields & Passchendaele tours into one comprehensive small-group experience.

Walk preserved trenches at Beaumont-Hamel and Vimy Ridge, follow Canadian soldiers onto the Somme at Courcelette, and stand beneath the Canadian National Vimy Memorial. On the second day, travel north through Hill 70 and the Christmas Truce battlefields to Ypres, before exploring Essex Farm, Passchendaele, Tyne Cot Cemetery and Crest Farm. Across two days, personal stories, original landscapes and battlefield archaeology bring Canada’s Western Front experience to life.

Day 1: Vimy Ridge & The Somme

From the Somme battlefields of 1916 to Vimy Ridge in 1917, follow the evolution of the Canadian Corps through two of the most important chapters in Canada’s First World War story.

Day 2: Flanders Fields & Passchendaele

Travel north into Belgium and follow Canada’s story through the Ypres Salient to the terrible battlefields of Passchendaele.
