Journey across two world wars on an unforgettable five-day battlefield tour through France and Belgium. Beginning in historic Arras, follow the Canadian and Newfoundland experience from the Somme and Vimy Ridge into the battlefields of Flanders and Passchendaele before travelling west to Normandy and the beaches of D-Day.
Walk preserved First World War trenches at Beaumont-Hamel and Vimy Ridge, stand among the graves at Tyne Cot and trace the Canadian advance at Passchendaele. In Normandy, follow British airborne troops to Pegasus Bridge, American paratroopers through the fields behind Utah Beach, and Canadian soldiers ashore at Juno Beach. With fully arranged accommodation, small-group transportation and expert battlefield interpretation included, this journey offers a comprehensive introduction to the Canadian experience of both world wars.
Travel north into Belgium and follow the Canadian story through the Ypres Salient to the battlefields of Passchendaele.
Begin on the Somme battlefields of 1916 before following the Canadian Corps north to Vimy Ridge and one of the defining Canadian victories of the First World War.
Leave the Western Front behind and travel west across northern France toward Normandy, combining the journey with historic Honfleur, Pegasus Bridge and an evening in Bayeux.
Follow the American paratroopers who landed behind Utah Beach before continuing to the dramatic cliffs and beaches of the American D-Day sector.
Conclude the journey along the British and Canadian D-Day sectors, from German coastal defences and the remains of the Mulberry Harbour to the beaches where Canadians landed on 6 June 1944.
